Cette r\u00e9action g\u00e9n\u00e8re une forte mont\u00e9e en temp\u00e9rature au c\u0153ur de la mati\u00e8re, qui a pour effet de :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ass\u00e9cher<\/strong> les d\u00e9chets, en \u00e9liminant une grande partie de leur humidit\u00e9<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assainir<\/strong> la mati\u00e8re, en d\u00e9truisant les agents pathog\u00e8nes<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stabiliser<\/strong> les composants organiques, r\u00e9duisant les nuisances olfactives et le risque de fermentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le r\u00e9sultat est un granulat sec, stable et manipulable \u2014 tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent du d\u00e9chet brut dont il est issu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Que devient la mati\u00e8re trait\u00e9e ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>C&#8217;est l\u00e0 que le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 prend tout son sens \u00e9conomique : les granulats obtenus ne sont pas un simple r\u00e9sidu \u00e0 stocker, mais une mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re r\u00e9utilisable.
